Benefits of Ethernet over Copper
Ethernet over Copper (EoC) is a type of Ethernet in the initial mile link that makes use of twisted copper telephone cable pairs that are typically already located in lots of service areas. It is generally quicker to provide EoC than to build out brand-new fiber circuits in older service places.
Ethernet over Copper is a mature as well as reliable modern technology offering the very same functions as conventional T1 lines: dedicated, symmetrical, and also full duplex. Its primary advantage is that Ethernet over Copper is supplied over copper pairs of DS0 so EoC does not need expensive fiber build outs. One more wonderful benefit over typical T1 lines is the fact that an Ethernet circuit is much easier to upgrade. With the conventional bonded T1, an upgrade in circuit speeds could take months due to the fact that the regional telephone company needs to install additional circuits. With an Ethernet circuit, the port bandwidth could usually be raised as just a configuration modification at the central office. Also, Ethernet over Copper runs over a number of pairs of copper so if one pair drops, the data transfer readily available does go down yet you do not loose the whole circuit as you would with a T1 line. Ethernet over Copper costs is much below that of bonded T1 circuits of the exact same bandwidth. EoC circuits have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) just like T1 lines typically with the exact identical guarantees.

As we go forward, our wish is to regularly improve our product offerings. We now provide business items usually employed by bigger firms, specifically: gigabit ethernet, MPLS network service, OC3, and cloud computing bandwidth delivered over a fiber optic backbone. Many of our suppliers even offer free managed Cisco routers for multi-year contracts. Primarily, our objective is to create a bond with you - our customer - that will certainly last for years to come. Obtaining your trust is exactly what we do here. Saving you money on affordable Ethernet services is how we keep it.
